You will find several kinds of columns here. There is a selection from those I
have already made, there are some antiques, and some may suggest solutions to
problems you might have -- often their size, and often their cost.
The major problem with a pair of wardens' columns is indeed their cost. A brief
glance at any catalogue will tell you that £400 is the minimum you can expect to pay
-- for a very basic object.
All of my columns, by comparison, are custom made and they don't cost anything like
that amount. The reason is that I am the maker, who has none of the overheads a
reseller might have to cover. I also take great pride in what I create, which
has resulted in commissions from all over the world.
